Spiral bound in red plastic with a break in the spiral part-way along, illustrative covers - the deck of a sailing ship with hills in the background, windows in a stone wall to the back cover - a little worn and rubbed, illustrative end-papers of bracken, no inscriptions, slight foxing, 16 pages of pink tinted photographs, and many b/w illustrations to the text, 8 pages of maps. Lightly worn, clean, good. Good.

Book Condition: In common with other booktraders we use the following abbreviations to describe books:
Fine: as new.
VG: one or two signs of having been read, but no serious blemishes, generally very good condition.
Good: o.k., but not very good, signs of ageing or fading or other damage (usually described).
Fair: showing definite signs of wear and tear.
Reading copy: It's all there and it's legible, but that's about all we guarantee.
DJ: dust jacket (if it's not mentioned there isn't one).
