From bird, cat and horse to ape and camel, Animals in Bronze examines and illustrates the work of hundreds of sculptors and founders who have worked in this highly popular and much-collected field. The definitive animal bronzes, renowned for their vigour and authenticity, are those of Antoine-Louis Barye, and there is full coverage of his work here, along with that of others of his school. However, the scope of the book extends well beyond the confines of Les Animaliers to include the output of artists such as Troubetzkoy, Bugatti, Pompon, Haseltine, John Willis Good and Sir Joseph Edgar Boehm. Space is also devoted to several of today's practitioners. The main body of the book is arranged by subject matter, enabling the reader to observe trends in the portrayals of different animals from the 1830s onwards. In addition, the biographical index of artists gives page references to illustrated pieces, so that the work of particular sculptors can also be followed across different subject areas.

De volgende verkoopvoorwaarden zijn van toepassing:
Terms of Sale

All books have been discribed entirely, including all deficiences.
All books are complete and at least in good state. 
Small lacks, such as name on flyleaf or light damages wich are normal for used books, have been not always indicated.

Prices are net, in Euro and including taxes. Shipping and bank costs are additonal against costs. We will quote the total costs by e-mail before delivery. Payment is due in advance. Institutions, libraries and known customers may be invoiced.
Payment accepted: bank transfer or Paypal.

Books remain bookdealers property untill full remittance has been made. 
Shipping is at booksellers risk. The bookseller, may decide, in consultation with buyer, to registered and or insure shipment.
This will be added to the shipping costs. Returns within 14 days. Previous notification by e-mail will be appreciated.

The price of the book (not the shipping costs) will be restituted, in case the return results from an incomplete description, full restitution will be made. 
Returns should arrive at the bookseller in the same condition as received. Shipping is at senders risk.


Verkoopvoorwaarden

Alle boeken zijn volledig beschreven, inclusief alle gebreken.
Alle boeken zijn compleet en tenminste in goede staat. Kleine gebreken, zoals naam op schutblad of lichte beschadigingen die normaal zijn voor gebruikte boeken zijn niet altijd aangegeven.
Prijzen zijn netto, in Euro en inclusief btw. Verzendkosten bank- en chequekosten worden tegen kostprijs doorberekend. U ontvangt vooraf een opgave van het totaalbedrag per email.
Boeken worden geleverd tegen vooruitbetaling. Aan instellingen, bibliotheken en bekende klanten kan eventueel met met factuur worden geleverd.
Betaling kan geschieden via IBAN-overschrijving of Paypal.
Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper totdat volledige betaling van het factuurbedrag heeft plaats gevonden. 
Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten hieruit voortvloeiend worden doorberekend aan de koper.
Elke aankoop kan binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (niet de verzendkosten) volgt.
Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten + retourporto gerestitueerd. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de afzender.

Op maandag, dinsdag, woensdag en vrijdag van 09.30 tot 11.45 uur. Als je meldt hoe laat je het komt halen, dan zetten we het klaar bij onze kantoor-adres. Graag dan bericht over dag en tijd. De boeken kunnen alleen worden opgehaald als het bedrag bij ons op de rekening staat.
