The fine illustrations are printed by J.Allart but from illustrations after J.Buys and then engraved by Meer. A beautiful copy of all three volumes without any foxing, tears or marking. Each volume has a sepia bookplate by Doesburgh for Carl Viol with a stamp from the University of Amsterdam.
