Wetherell, some sporadic light browning and spotting throughout, e.ps. lightly spotted and sl. browned to edges, couple of corners sl. creased, 15 cm circular light brown stain to fore edge of p.95-100 not affecting text, hinges and joints cracked but boards firm, contemporary specked sheep scuffed to edges, corners worn, joints sl. chipped, gilt ruled raised bands and gilt motifs to spine worn at head, lacking leather title label to spine. ¶ ESTC T113353. Joseph Harris 1704-1764, Assay master of the mint. On his monument in Talgarth church it is said that ‘he invented many mathematical instruments.’
