Light browning, undecipherable signature to title pages, contemporary worn half skivver with marbled boards, extremities rubbed, loss to spines, surface wear to boards. ¶ Apparently, a great part contributed by Lord Alfred Paget. Somerset John Gough-Calthorpe (1831–1912), who served as a general in the Crimean War.
