Flourished penned inscriptions at half-title and opposite from 1863 and 1874 from Lyle Hillis and then again in 1943 from Francis Emma Watkins. A readable and accessible account of the American Civil War penned by the wife of Gen. John Charles Fremont, a fetching war memoir told in a series of letters. I've done my best to state clearly and truthfully the condition of each and every book I have listed on-line. Sometimes, however, books change condition insofar as they sit on the shelf for a long time, get moved by customers, get taken to and from book fairs, and so on. Most orders will ship within one to two business days, but often times, they will go out on the same day as they are ordered. I've based my shipping costs on the assumption of books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized (extra thick, extra long, etc.), I may contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Bubble mailers and boxes will be expertly and securely wrapped and monitored. Please contact us if there is anything extra or different you need us to do.
