Engraved title page, frontispiece with tissue guard, botanical engravings of plants in the text. Old paper label to spine, some scuffing to boards and edges. Small scuff to corner of front free endpaper, first few pages discoloured at top edge, initials to verso of illus. title, ownership stamp on dedication page, otherwise generally clean, binding sound; very good. Text in French. .
