Barker, Elsa. - Poem Signed by Elsa Barker, "One of These Little Ones".

New York: Moods Publishing, (1910). (1910). New York: Moods Publishing, (1910). (1910). Very good. - Octavo, 8 inches high by 6-1/4 inches wide. Unbound sheet removed from a book featuring the poem ""One of These Little Ones" and signed by the poet Elsa Barker. The pages [13-16] were removed in the past from the limited edition book "The Younger Choir" published in 1910. The poem is published across two pages and signed at the end of the poem below the author's printed name. On the versos of the pages are an unsigned poem by Barker, "When I am Dead" and a poem by Herbert Bashford, "The Fall of the Fir". The inner edges of the leaves are rough. There is a very light stain to the upper inner corner of the leaves. A very good boldly autographed poem. Elsa Barker (1869-1954) was an American writer who was interested in the occult. She wrote 3 books which she claimed were messages from a dead man. She said that the books were produced through automatic writing. The books were: "Letters from a Living Dead Man" (1914), "War Letters from the Living Dead Man" (1915), and "Last Letters from the Living Dead Man" (1919). Very good .
