Sherman Foote Denton is one of the most recognized natural history illustrators and his beautiful chromolithographs prints are highly collectible.  The print has bright, vibrant color on quality, slightly creamy paper that is generally unblemished. Top edge show wear from the original book binding, 1/8 inch marginal tear to bottom of page which does not show up when the image is scanned or framed; near fine condition..
