An apparent First Edition and quite scarce in the trade, there being only a single additional copy available on-line currently, and only half a dozen copies available in libraries, worldwide. Printed for the author by D. Lyons, 25 Smithfield, Belfast, Ireland, 1821. Page of Dedication invokes "the Ladies Directresses of the Molyneaux Asylum for Blind Females. The author was blind from infancy, too. Neatly and professionally rebound, perhaps incorporating the original marbled papers over boards, tips and spine finely rebacked in calf leather, stamped fleurs-de-lis to spine, gilt lettered titles there. Lightly and evenly foxed throughout, previous owner's penciled collation and other notes at first two endpapers, else clean and still fairly bright.
