An apparent First Edition and quite scarce in the trade, there being only a single additional copy available on-line currently, and only half a dozen copies available in libraries, worldwide. Printed for the author by D. Lyons, 25 Smithfield, Belfast, Ireland, 1821. Page of Dedication invokes "the Ladies Directresses of the Molyneaux Asylum for Blind Females. The author was blind from infancy, too. Neatly and professionally rebound, perhaps incorporating the original marbled papers over boards, tips and spine finely rebacked in calf leather, stamped fleurs-de-lis to spine, gilt lettered titles there. Lightly and evenly foxed throughout, previous owner's penciled collation and other notes at first two endpapers, else clean and still fairly bright. I've done my best to state clearly and truthfully the condition of each and every book I have listed on-line. Sometimes, however, books change condition insofar as they sit on the shelf for a long time, get moved by customers, get taken to and from book fairs, and so on. Most orders will ship within one to two business days, but often times, they will go out on the same day as they are ordered. I've based my shipping costs on the assumption of books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized (extra thick, extra long, etc.), I may contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Bubble mailers and boxes will be expertly and securely wrapped and monitored. Please contact us if there is anything extra or different you need us to do.

Return policy;
If for some reason you don't like your purchase or it arrives somehow damaged, or if it doesn't get to you at all, you might be eligible for a refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
