Wonderful travel guide, illustrated with b/w photos including tree underwhich South Australia proclaimed a colony in 1836, Federal Parliament House in Melbourne, Flinders Street Station, several "modern" steam trains, six train tracks near Richmond with 3 steam trains approaching, a very flash "average" Melbourne home, an obelisk commemorating the 8 hour working day granted in 1856, interesting limits on campaign expenses for upper and lower house politicians; Melbourne Cup in progress, Salvation Army headquarters in Melbourne, and more for each state and also New Zealand including tribute to Robert Falcon Scott.
