San Francisco, CA: Kennedy for President, 1963. Other. This is a slim (3 1/2" x 8") folded piece of paper (14" long unfolded). The flier is in Very Good+ condition. The flier gives six reasons why "California Needs Kennedy", including: Practical Liberalism, Experience, Youth and Vigor, Dynamic Leadership, Freshness of Outlook, and, Resoluteness. The flier is clean and bright, with fresh coloring and no edge wear. "The 1960 United States presidential election was the 44th quadrennial presidential election. It was held on Tuesday, November 8, 1960. In a closely contested election, Democrat John F. Kennedy defeated incumbent Vice President Richard Nixon, the Republican Party nominee. This was the first election in which all fifty states participated, and the last in which the District of Columbia did not.
