Illustrated with 10 black and white plates vividly capturing the essence of the characters in Baskins inimitable and beautifully stark style. Additionally illustrated with an original sienna-toned lithograph by Leonard Baskin with the printers fox device embossed at the bottom. Near fine. Number 666 of a limited edition of 2,000 numbered copies printed for the members of the Limited Editions Club at the Stinehour Press in Lunenburg, Vermont. The illustrations and typography are by Leonard Baskin, and Baskins original lithograph was printed on Arches paper by Fox-Graphics Editions, Ltd. of Boston. THE BOOK IS SIGNED AND NUMBERED IN PENCIL BY LEONARD BASKIN ON THE COLOPHON. Laid in is The Monthly Letter of The Limited Editions Club for March 1982, which serves as a prospectus for the book.
