Robert Desjarlais's graceful ethnography explores the life histories of two Yolmo elders, focusing on how particular sensory orientations and modalities have contributed to the making and the telling of their lives. These two are a woman in her late eighties and a Buddhist priest in his mid-eighties, members of an ethnically Tibetan Buddhist people whose ancestors have lived for three centuries or so along the upper ridges of the Yolmo Valley in north central Nepal. It was clear through their many conversations that both individuals perceived themselves as nearing death, and both were quite willing to share their thoughts about death and dying. Edges cover slightly tanned. Otherwise nice and clean copy.

The books are shipped at the seller's risk.
- The order can be returned within seven days after receiving it (prior notification by e-mail will be appreciated), after which you will get a refund, excluding shipping costs. When the shipment is returned because of a flawed description, the shipping costs are to be paid by the seller. Returned books must arrive in the same condition as in which they was sent. Return shipments are at the sender's risk.

Alle boeken zijn compleet en tenminste in goede staat. Kleine gebreken, zoals naam op schutblad of lichte beschadigingen die normaal zijn voor gebruikte boeken zijn niet altijd aangegeven. Prijzen zijn netto, in euro. Porto wordt tegen kostprijs doorberekend. Op verzoek sturen we u graag een scan van het boek. Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten daarvan worden doorberekend aan de koper.
Elke aankoop kan binnen 7 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per e-mail wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (exclusief de verzendkosten) volgt. Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten + retourporto gerestitueerd. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden.
