Nikolai Kiuner (1877 - 1955) was a Russian historian, educator, orientalist, author, ethnographer, lexicographer, and polyglot - said to have mastered sixteen languages. His current work set the history of China at the end of the 19th- and the beginning of the 20th centuries, covering a thirty-year-period from the last years of the Chinese Empire. Very good .
