'Giottos Father' is the first book to examine the extensive and deep theme of family in Vasari's 'Lives' and to explaine its importance in the study of the family in the sixteenth century. The world of the artist's workshop was closely tied to the artist's family life. Artists were often trained by their fathers, and they sometimes married into the families of other artists. It is thus reasonable for Vasari to have viewed the community of artists as an extended family of brotherhood presided over by major patrichal figures, for example, Giotto, Ghiberti, and Raphael. Alle boeken zijn compleet en verkeren in normale antiquarische staat, tenzij anders beschreven. Kleine onvolkomenheden, zoals een stempel, een ingeplakte ex-libris of een naam op het schutblad, zijn niet altijd vermeld.
Bestellingen worden in volgorde van binnenkomst verwerkt. In een orderbevestiging vermelden wij de verzendkosten en de betalingsmogelijkheden. Na ontvangst van het factuurbedrag versturen wij het pakket.
De verzendkosten zijn voor rekening van de koper.
In het kader van de Europese belastingwetgeving brengen wij onze klanten op antiquarische- en tweedehands boeken geen BTW in rekening (z.g.n. margeregeling).
Reclamatie/retourzendingen worden volgens het in het Burgerlijk Wetboek beschreven artikel betreffende Kopen op Afstand, met name Boek 7, Art. 46D, afgehandeld. Retourrecht is 14 dagen na ontvangst van de bestelling.
De boeken blijven ons eigendom tot de nota is voldaan.
