London, The Bodley Head. 1924. Cloth, 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Gilt title and decoration to spine, blind embossed title, ruling and motif of Anatole France on orange cloth boards which have some minor marks to front and dulling to spine with no wear. Internally clean, tight and unmarked with no inscriptions. Translated by Mrs. John Lane. First published in 1909. Comprise the stories :- Balthasar; The Cure's Mignonette; M. Pigeonnau; The Daughter of Lilith; Laeta Acilia; The Red Egg; Honey-Bee. NOT EX LIB B2C. Good/No Jacket.
