Later issue of this haphazardly published little magazine, being a "quintessential Beat publication," from the North Beach scene of San Francisco, it was conceived of as a way to capture "the beauty and promote the beatific life among the various mendicants, [..], poets, painters, musicians," (quote from Bob Kaufman as cited by Lawrence Ferlinghetti). This issue featuring work by Jack Hirschman, Gil Ott, among others. GOOD+ condition. Minor fading and edgewear. Front cover detached from upper staple. Minor rusting to the staples. Minor creasing to the covers. Uneven light fading. Clay and Phillips, p. 80-81. Good .

We will ship the book upon receipt of payment.
We charge a media ship rate of $4.50 for the first book plus $2.00 per each additional books. We ship internationally with the US post office. Shipping rates provided upon request based on the country of receipt. Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. This is subject to change based on country being shipped to or size of book, so please contact to confirm rate.

We accept Paypal, cashier's check or money order (they must be drawn on US funds). Credit cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
