Lloyd Jones is a writer and journalist. His writing began with two novels, Gilmore's Dairy and Splinter, which drew on the small New Zealand community in which he grew up. His short stories were collected in Swimming to Australia. He has travelled widely, through the United States and India, through Europe, and in Korea.
