A heavily mathematical based treatise on the steam engine, providing detailed mathematical formulas and principles to be used in applications for constructing steam engines and their various parts. With a section examining the mathematic principles behind navigation and steering in various bodies of water, as well as a section on the American monitors and their use. GOOD condition. Covers faded, with some soiling, minor staining and discoloration. Small chip in the cloth on the lower front cover. Extremities bumped and scuffed. Minor scattered foxing throughout. Owner's name stamp on the first endpaper. One page with math calculations in blue ink. Good .

Wherever possible, we ship using first class international for $25.00, or the flat rate priority envelope through the US Post which costs $35.00. Return policy:
Any book may be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund of book price. Buyer responsible for return shipping. For books misdescribed, or for wrong books sent, or any other errors on our part, we will refund book price plus return cost of shipping.
