Oxenham, John; Moss, Hugh (arranger and producer); MacCunn, Hamish (composer) - The Pageant of Darkness and Light

New York, Weekes and Co, 1908. Wraps. Blue and white wraps. 148 pp. Primarily consisting of musical scores, this work presents a tale of missionary work around the world. Divided into 5 episodes. This includes Native Americans in the northwest, people near Ujiji, Africa, a city in India, and a beach on Hawaii near Kilauea. Each episode culminates in the 'enlightenment' of the natives. Issued by the Missionary Education Movement of the United States and Canada. GOOD condition. Faint but extensive foxing to the front and rear covers, with minor soiling and a few faint stains. Some browning to the wraps. Wrappers split at the upper and lower spine, with minor tearing, chipping and fraying. Wrappers creased along the spine. Interior clean and solid. Good .
