Spine label is scuffed, cover corners are lightly worn, covers are lightly soiled. Signature of former owner on front pastedown, dated Aug 31/97. Contents are excellent, Binding is tight, pages are clean and unmarked. Printed on coated paper. Cassier's Magazine was a relatively short-lived engineering magazine. This issue is a treasure trove of information, both printed and visual, concerning marine vessels and equipment, circa 1900. About 500 pages in length, it includes 300 pages of articles on engineering aspects and issues of warship design, torpedo boats, ship launching, hydraulic principles of a floating ship, marine boiler furnaces, steamships and much more. It also includes nearly 200 pages of relevant ads for engineering devices and applications. Profusely illustrated with photos and line drawings. Small 4to 9" - 11" tall. U5. Very Good.

Any book may be returned within 10 days of receipt by customer, for any reason, with prior email notice, for a full refund of payment. Condition of returns must be the same as when shipped. Books must be packed appropriately so that damage does not occur in the return shipment.
