The jacket has numerous chips and a 2" closed tear on the back panel. There is an apporximately 1" by 6" loss at the bottom of the front panel of the jacket, clearly shown in the picture. Book is very good with a little wear at the corners. Back hinge has a tape repair. Last title mentioned on "other books by de Brunhoff" on copyright page is "The ABC of Babar. Good +/good.
