The book is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The book has some beginning edge wear, rubbing and bumping to the spine ends, corners and edges. There are several light creases to the spine of the book. The text pages are clean and bright. There is one tiny nick to the front endpaper on the foredge. The cover art is by Ken W. Kelly. "Cooper was an atheist and an individualist. His science fiction often depicts unconventional male heroes facing unfamiliar and remote environments. His novel The Uncertain Midnight was noted for its treatment of the subject of androids, which was considered original at the time of writing.
