A very good two volume set in matching full leather bindings. 8vo. 6.25" x 4.0" x 1.0". 2 volumes: Vol. I. pp.x/[2pp.]/pp. 368; Vol. II. pp.iv/[4pp]/pp.363 . Crimson straight-grained morocco with gilt decoration. Spines with 5 raised bands, gilt titles and gilt decorated compartments. All page edges bright gilt with simple gauffered border. Inner gilt turn-in. Armorial bookplate to the verso of each front board with motto: "Libertas". Previous owner's signature to each front endpaper: "E. J. Evans". Colophon to verso of the title-page: "T. Bensley, Printer Bolt Court, Fleet Street, London.". Return of goods
