I, columns 100-101: 'È opera più erudita che scientifica, e prescindendo da quanto vi riguarda la fisica terrestre, tratta delle opinioni degli antichi e dei moderni sulla figura e sulla grandezza della terra.': Ward & Carozzi, item 154, mentions an 'illustrated half title' "Teoria della Terra", which is in fact the etched frontispiece present in our copy: Discusses the origin of the world in lecture form, incorporating the opinions of the ancient philosophers on the origin and 'soul' of the earth, the modernist views up to date, the physical properties of the earth, the flooding of the earth etc. Literary references / citations at the end of each chapter.

We gaan er van uit dat de klant begrijpt dat het door ons aangeboden antiquarische materiaal vaak een hoge ouderdom heeft bereikt en kan vergeleken worden met de oudere mens of de oudere aardappel: met rimpels en gebreken van diverse aard. Roestvlekjes, verzuring, waterschade, scheurtjes, stempels, defecten aan band en papier worden in de regel allemaal vermeld. Voorwaarden bij de verkoop volgens de richtlijnen opgesteld door NVvA en ILAB. Prijzen excl. btw [Nederland en Europa] en porto, behoudens houders van een BTW registratie nummmer. Porto tegen kostprijs. Normaalgesproken levering met factuur in het geval van bekende relaties, veelal wordt gevraagd de factuur bij vooruitbetaling te voldoen. Oudere stukken worden aangetekend en verzekerd verstuurd. Koeriersdiensten Fedex, DHL etc. mogelijk op verzoek, kosten voor de kopende partij. Boeken etc. blijven onvervreemdbaar eigendom van B.M.Israel BV antiquariaat totdat volledige betaling heeft plaatsgevonden. Retourzendingen en teruggave recht: binnen 14 dagen wanneer het artikel niet voldoet aan de verwachting of afwijkt van de beschrijving. Graag in dit geval uw bericht omtrent terugzending.
