Bontekoe, some cabin boys and crew survived and arrived at Batavia. Upon his return in Holland a published decided to publish a popular compilation after the original Log in 1646. It became a huge success during the d17th., 18th and 20th centuries. This compilation is expanded by information with deeper insight in its publishing history. Very fine copy.
