Protective monochrome dustjacket. 36pp. 2 captioned monochrome plates after photographs of which one featuring a Ceram Sacred House, detailed explanations of terms and expressions used in text printed at tail-margins, first chapter with a decorative head-pieces in Alfurese traditional art-style. Stories by an assistant-minister, about the christianization of the population of North-west Seram or, Ceram (Moluccan Island group), e.g.: A tale on the origin of Seram from the sun and the moon has been included; also with i.a. notes on the pressure on the Alfurese population by the socio-political Association Kakehanand by muslim-teachers.
