Original white boards with colour illustrations to the front board and the rear board; the binding is held together with string. The boards are rubbed and lightly marked, there is a 3cm tear to one page, and there is some light wear to the lower joint; overall, this book is in good condition. An unusual book on gardens in the USA. The front cover illustration is by W Rosenthal; the rear cover illustration is by Addison E Avery.
