Original grey printed wrappers with green cloth backstrip. This copy is only in fair condition; the covers are somewhat rubbed and chipped, and the corners of the pages are dog-eared. Suitable as a reading, working or reference copy. There are six papers included; the first paper is "On the Laying out of Towns and Villages" by John J Stevenson, and the final paper is "Gas-Lighting and the Best Mode of Applying it to Buildings" by William Johnston.
