Color boards are rather age toned and quite edgeworn, with rounded corners; durable modern brown cloth tape spine replaces the largely perished original burgundy cloth spine; text block tight and nice, with bit of sporadic age toning and minor occasional foxing. Likely first edition of this collection that includes "Goody Two Shoes," "Jack and the Beanstalk," "The Story of Dick Whittington," "The History of Tom Thumb," "Bo-Peep," "Dame Fidget," "On Donkey-Back," "A Fairyland Trip," "Playing Red Riding-Hood," "A Land Where It Is Always Summer," "What Two Hens Said" and "Houses to Let." A tight, decent, quite handleable copy of a title difficult title to find in choice condition. .
