London. Constable & Co., 1946., First edition. The story of Jummy, a beautiful Springer Spaniel dog. Born in India he was a gift to Major-General Brooke who was serving in the army. They became very good 'Companions', and later returned to England together. 64 pages. Illustrated with a frontispiece in colour and 5 black & white drawings by Lucy Dawson. Sadly the first and last few pages are foxed, otherwise near fine. D./w. foxed on front and back and corners are worn & torn otherwise very good. 1946

I aim to please! I describe every fault, tiny tear & blemish in a book, because I would like the customer to be pleased & content with their purchase. Some have been surprised that their book is actually better than they thought it would be! I scan most books, & if requested can send more. If a customer finds a book ordered from me is not as described, then within 14 days he can return it for a full refund, but only if I consider its in the same condition as when I posted it. He must have proof of posting, & should also notify me first.
