Volume 1) The start of the company "Royal Dutch Comany for the Working of Petroleum Wells in the Netherlands Indies." 287 pages, with 30 b./ w. photographs, illustrations, documents & 2 maps in colour. Volume 2) 2nd edition, first published 1955. 355 pages. 42 b./w. photographs, documents, diagrams, and maps in colour. Volume 3) 2nd edition, first published 1957. 307 pages. 29 b./w. photographs, documents, illustrations & charts, plus maps in colour. Volume 4) 2nd edition, first published 1957. 362 pages including index for all 4 volumes. 38 b./w. photographs, documents, diagrams & charts, plus maps in colour. Contents clean except previous owner's name written in ink in front of each book. In some the paper over the inner hinge has split. Cloth covers are mottled, probably from damp.

Books are posted only after payment is received. Please say if you prefer insured post. Postage in UK is by 1st class, overseas is by surface unless airmail is requested. I post to most places in the world.

I aim to please! I describe every fault, tiny tear & blemish in a book, because I would like the customer to be pleased & content with their purchase. Some have been surprised that their book is actually better than they thought it would be! I scan most books, & if requested can send more. If a customer finds a book ordered from me is not as described, then within 14 days he can return it for a full refund, but only if I consider its in the same condition as when I posted it. He must have proof of posting, & should also notify me first.
