Nicholson & Watson, 1946., A large, heavy, impressive book, with chapters on horses around the world, in agriculture, at war, in art, racing, hunting, driving & coaching, the different breeds of horses & ponies, etc. all written by authorities. 879 pages, including equine glossary, bibliographies & index. About 19 colour and 180 b./w. photographs. Contents are very good, no inscription or marks. The d./w. is badly worn & torn on edges but still about 95% complete, priced on flap 2 guineas, and that was in 1946 ! The d./w. was partially taped on the inside to help keep it together.10" x 7.5". 1946

Books are posted only after payment is received. Please say if you prefer insured post. Postage in UK is by 1st class, overseas is by surface unless airmail is requested. I post to most places in the world.

Some have been surprised that their book is actually better than they thought it would be! I scan most books, & if requested can send more. If a customer finds a book ordered from me is not as described, then within 14 days he can return it for a full refund, but only if I consider its in the same condition as when I posted it. He must have proof of posting, & should also notify me first.
