National Geographic Society, 1958., A lovely National Geographic book, with paintings by Walter Weber, Edwin Megargee, Edward Miner, Robert Lougheed & other artists. 432 pages. 112 recognized breeds are described with their origins, habits, stories, etc. 342 illustrations, photographs, drawings, prints etc., 189 of them in colour. 10¼" x 7". Brown cloth cover with gilt lettering and contents are near fine, no inscription or marks. D./w is rubbed on all edges, front flap was separated, but taped back on, on the inside. A 1½" tear front top & ½" tear on front bottom edge. (Priced $9.85 - 50 years ago!) Coated paper, so heavy. 1958

Books are posted only after payment is received. Please say if you prefer insured post. Postage in UK is by 1st class, overseas is by surface unless airmail is requested. I post to most places in the world.

I aim to please! I describe every fault, tiny tear & blemish in a book, because I would like the customer to be pleased & content with their purchase. Some have been surprised that their book is actually better than they thought it would be! I scan most books, & if requested can send more. If a customer finds a book ordered from me is not as described, then within 14 days he can return it for a full refund, but only if I consider its in the same condition as when I posted it. He must have proof of posting, & should also notify me first.
