The binding is lightly bumped. The dust jacked is rubbed with the extremities darkened and with the head & tail of its spine chipped. There is creasing to the dust jacket flaps. [ix] & 256 pages. There is offsetting to the front pastedown & endpaper where something has been laid in. There is minor soiling to the top edge. Very good in a good dust wrapper.

Inscribed by the author to photographer Hans Namuth: "A rayograph reproduction with some accompanying stories. / With best wishes-- / Ann Beattie / New York 1984". Namuth's blind stamp is above the inscription on the front endpaper.

Hans Namuth [1915-1990] was a German-born photographer who specialized in portraiture, photographing many visual artists, including Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning and Robert Rauschenberg. Very good .

USA - Domestic shipping via media mail within the USA is $3.75 for the first book and $2.00 for each additional book or item. Priority mail shipping is $15.10 for the first book and $5.00 for each additional book or item.
INTERNATIONAL – When possible we will ship your item in a Flat Rate Priority Mail Envelope for $32.95 USD. Other items will be shipped via International First Class Mail for a parcel weighing 3 lbs or less is $34.50 USD. Items requiring insurance as well as larger and heavier books and multi-volume sets may cost more. We will contact you for your approval when additional shipping is required.
