The frontispiece shows a little girl holding an armful of dolls. The charming illustrations in the text depict birds and animals [tom-tits, an owl, a dog, a horse, a monkey, a Syrian sheep, baby foxes, puppies and kittens] and scenes of children engaged in a variety of activities (playing musical instruments, sailing, fishing, playing with their pets or bathing in the sea) as well as less privileged youngsters--a child toy seller, a boy sailor. USA - Domestic shipping via media mail within the USA is $3.75 for the first book and $2.00 for each additional book or item. Priority mail shipping is $15.10 for the first book and $5.00 for each additional book or item.
INTERNATIONAL – When possible we will ship your item in a Flat Rate Priority Mail Envelope for $32.95 USD. Other items will be shipped via International First Class Mail for a parcel weighing 3 lbs or less is $34.50 USD. Items requiring insurance as well as larger and heavier books and multi-volume sets may cost more. We will contact you for your approval when additional shipping is required.
