Arnott (1870 - ?1910) was born in Glasgow but moved to London with his parents when he was about ten. He spent a year at the Royal College of Music under C.V. Stanford and Hubert Parry. Afterwards he studied under Frederick Corder. Graduated B. Mus. (1891) and D. Mus. (1901) at the University of Durham. Copac locates a copy at the BL, while OCLC locates several digital copies.
