Vol. 1: backstrip sun-faded, with a few small stains and ends frayed; covers faintly mottled, with a few white stains on rear cover; three corners lightly bumped, with bottom corner of front cover moderately bumped; pages faintly edge-browned; light foxing throughout, moderately more on first and last few pages; neat repair of tear at outside margin of p. 193; previous owners name and embossed ownership stamp on front endpaper. Vol. 2: original leather backstrip adhered to cloth binding, but cracked and heavily chipped at edges; several very small discolorations on covers; endpapers reinforced at hinges; previous owners name on front endpaper, with another earlier owners notation on half-title page; pages faintly toned, but otherwise very good condition. Two volumes, separately paged. .
