Inside pages are in very good condition, clean and tight. Title page with woodcut printer's device and contemporary ink signature of (?)J Godersen. With a final leaf containing "Ant. Oiselus P. Pithoeo .." and colophon. Text in Latin. Pierre Pithou was a French lawyer who co-operated with the production of La Satyre Ménippée de la vertu du Catholicon d'Espagne, 1594, which critized the excesses of the Catholic League.
