Internally there is a blank bookplate and darkening to endpapers else clean and unmarked. Top edge gilt with fore and lower edges uncut. Lithograph portrait to frontispiece tissue guarded and with a biographical note by Wilfred Meynell. Sixth thousand. An excellent selection of Francis Thompson's (1859-1907) works. Interesting newspaper clipping included of his life, his friends the Meynell's, his Sussex connection, his drug taking and death aged 48. 1. Good TEG/No Jacket.
