. Pp. xxvi, 336, (2). Original red cloth. First edition of this textbook on the Congo language. At the turn of the 20th century the Swedish mission was the largest of all missions in the Lower Congo. The author, a Swedish missionary, came to Congo in 1891 where he worked for six years at the Kibunzi missionary station and later on at Mukimbungu. He published a vast number of linguistic works and he also made a translation of the Bible.
