- Revue Des Deux Mondes XXXI Annee - Seconde Periode, Tome Trente-Deuxieme, 1st April, 1861

Paris, Bureau de la Revue Des Deux Mondes, 1861. First Edition. Softcover. Size: 8vo 8" - 9" tall. An unusually well-preserved item indeed, being a First Edition state copy still tightly bound in tan printed wraps of the Revue des Deux Mondes. Covers the 31st annual volume, being the second series, thirty-second volume, published on April 1st, 1861. Sturdy softcover copy, moderate wear to the covers, front cover beginning to separate from the text-block, but less to the text-block, but with neither underlining nor highlighting. Perfectly readable, usable copy, housed in a plastic bag. French language text, including a serialized installment of Valvedre by M. George Sand, and contributions to literature, philosophy, art and politics by L. Simontin, Maxime du Camp, and others. Scarce item indeed, there being no copies currently available to the trade on-line. 521-776 pp. . . . Good
