A diligent book of instruction and guidance. The Field Marshall and Commander-in-Chief referred to on the cover was the Duke of Connaught, Queen Victoria's seventh child. He was C-in-C of Ireland and later of Canada. The book has been much owned and stored. It is defiantly resolute. The red card cover is worn, creased and marked from use and storage. It is firm and secure. Inside, there is some colour-run from the cover due to storage. The pages are worn, creased, but are confident, generous, clear, very ocassionally annotated, comfortable and competent. fk. Poor/No Jacket.
