Juan or Giovanni Andrés, a Spanish Jesuit writer and historian, was born in Planes, Alicante in 1740. In 1767 when the Jesuit order was prohibited in Spain, Andrés moved to Italy where he lived until his death (Rome 1817). Rare. Guyot & Guyot p. 33 (also Venezia 1793).
