- Industrial Democracy: The Road to Anarchy

No place: Self-published, ca. late-1970s. 8vo. Wraps. 64 p. Very good Autobiographical narrative of the author's remarkably dysfunctional personal life spent in a variety of California towns & cities, his failed marriage, his attempt at being a single father, his involvement with drugs and various forms of petty criminality including "carrying wetbacks" and his contacts with the criminal justice system. He also relates his involvement, beginning in 1957 with his release from San Quentin, with various left groups. The Socialist Labor Party is mentioned as being especially influential. Interspersed with this are transcriptions of revolutionary audio cassettes which he produced. The first copy of this item we encountered (in the 1980s) was in a used bookstore in San Diego. On the first page appeared the pencilled notation "deservedly scarce," next to which was written a correspondingly miniscule price.
