With descriptions in Japanese. As issued with double folded leaves in the oriental style within original decorated papercovered boards, title labels on upper covers. Housed in original worn cloth folder. A very attractive set with images in fine impression and colours. Comprises: I. From the period of Suiko empress to Tenpyo. Year 554-729. II. From Tenpyo to Konin period. Year 729-824. III. From Fujiwara to Heishi period. Year 825-1185. IV. From Kamakura to Ashikaga period. Year 1185-1573. V. From Toyotomi to Tokugawa period. Year 1573-1868.
