London, Henry G. Bohn, 1841. Cloth, 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. A very substantial book, bound in green cloth with gilt titling. In good condition, an acceptable reference copy. Some marking and rubbing to covers, marking to external page edges. Water-staining and chipping to title page and facing page, loss at bottom corner of title page, not affecting text. Slight chipping to the margins of a few other pages, again no loss of text. Browning to page margins, light foxing to page margins, a few other minor markings internally, no serious markings. Binding is shaky but is good and secure. 1948 pages plus 144 page publishers catalogue. Good.
