Tan calf spine and corners over brown boards. Spine with 4 raised bands, gilt decorated compartments and red leather title label: " Chansons De Beranger". Edges lightly rubbed and bumped, but a very good firm binding, Marbled page edges and matching marbled endpapers. BSmall blue bookseller label to verso of front board: "T. Martin & Sons, Booksellers & Stationers, Bromley, Kent." With "Préface de l'auteur, 1833" (pp. i-xix), "Préface Novembre 1845" (pp. 607-608), "Conversation entre mon censeur et moi, 15 Janvier, 1768" (pp. 609-614), "À M.[onsieur] Lucien Bonaparte, prince de Canino [after 1833]." (pp. 615-617). With table of contents. Clear French text throughout on lightly spotted paper. Continious pagination.Text ends with; "Table Alphabetique".
