Wallin, a distinguished Finnish orientalist who made several journeys to the Middle East in the 1840's and was the first European with knowledge of Arabic to explore the Arabian peninsula. Disguised as a learned Moslem sheikh he visited Mecca and Medina. This work comprises a collection of his letters and diary notes as well as a biography. (Included in "Sv. Litteratursällskapet i Finland. LXX").

All items are offered subject to previous sale. All books are complete, octavo in size and in good condition, unless otherwise stated. Prices are in Euro; packing, postage and insurance are extra.
